13YEARSINIRI^~ 11519 blog postsThis train is still regarded as 'Thanjavur express' at SBC, when the Automatic announcement fails the people who announce the name of the trains refers this train as Thanjavur express and even LCD TV systems displays this train's name as Thanjavur express , So passengers bound to places beyond Thanjavur junction need not worry and get confused , this train very well goes to MV.
When this train was extended to Mayiladuthurai in 2007-08, the announcer at BNC used to falter the name- and generally announced as 16232 Express going via Trichy, Thanjavur and Kumbakonam
