Yes Amjad Ali ,
I too experienced what you said...
Once I went to station to see off guests departing by Alahajarat Bhuj Bareily departing around 13.16 ... we reached station at around 12.45. By this time train had already arrived and was stationed on platform. seeing train, and assuming halt of 2 minutes, we are ran towards train and every guest was tense...
In...
more... few minutes all were comfortably seated, and we were ready to wave 'see you' ... but train did not move, and another half an hour was spent 'why train is not moving' ...
then the rule book 'train may arrive before time, but will not depart before time from a staion' prevailed...
Thanks
please wait...Show AI ResponseYes, I completely understand your experience. It can be quite frustrating when the train arrives early but doesn't depart on time. This is a rule followed by the railways, where a train may arrive before time but will not depart before its scheduled departure time from a station. While it may cause some confusion and inconvenience, it is done to ensure that all passengers have enough time to board the train comfortably. Thank you for sharing your experience.
