In my opinion, it's the best train to travel from Secunderabad to Odisha/Kolkata. I've personally travelled on this train many times. From Secunderabad to Vijayawada, it's good speed, punctual, and there's no unauthorized entry. After Vijayawada, some local travelers bound for stations between Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam board the train, but the SCR TTEs are very strict about this and don't allow them to board in sleeper class. So until morning, i.e., Berhampur, it's a neat, clean, and pleasant journey. But after that, the journey to Bhubaneswar sucks. The train is a bit slow and unauthorized passengers board it to go to Bhubaneswar/Cuttack. The TTEs don't even ask anything. After Bhubaneswar/Cuttack, this train again shows its full aggression. If the Falaknuma Express gets delayed by 20-25 minutes at Bhadrak, then hold your breath for a deadly aggressive overtake of the Falaknuma Express by the East Coast Railway's king, the Bhubaneswar Rajdhani, before Balasore, somewhere at Khantapara or Soro—a great video to shoot.
