Brilliant train in the mumbai-hyd-bza route. It gets great clearance through out the route. Personally i have traveled from pune-bza. Punctuality is great and this train is trustworthy. Its speed is mind blowing. Its one of the few train which covers pune-solapur in 4 hours, thus with an avg speed of 66kmph. Great intercity train for pune to solapur. Also halts are least and during night time, so the whole train is nearly empty. At pune, my coach S4 was 80% filled, but after solapur it was only 40-50% occupied. You can even travel in general class.
Only glitch is it's awkward arrival timing at secunderabad.

This train is exclusively for ppl of WL/BZA/RJY/COA. Already SC has 3 trains including Konark. So they have designed like this, but the problem with this train is the days of operation. It should have reached LTT on Friday and Monday instead of Sunday & Thursday. It will be packed.
Yes . Thats true. In my bogie, majority of passengers for kakinada and rest were for samalkot. 1-2 were till RJY.
yes sir,train is nearly empty.i travelled many times PUNE-SUR in general coaches(in case of not getting reservation of 12157),and i found everytime the general coaches are empty
Not only general coach, you can even buy a general ticket and board SL coach if travelling till BZA. Easily TTE will be able to provide you seat as ample amount of seats are vacant throughout the journey.
