Although the first trip of Tejas Express, high-speed train from Mumbai to Goa, started amid much fanfare, the train came back with fewer headphones, damaged infotainment screens and waste strewn all over. The train was flagged off from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus on Monday and returned from Goa on Tuesday. But if that was not embarrassing, what followed it definitely was. One of the person who had stolen the headphones, has come back and returned his headphone saying that the headphones are faulty and they stopped working after just 1 day of his possession.
We are talking about Jagdish Chunawala who is a frequent traveler between Mumbai and Goa. he was pretty excited when the Tejas Express was announced and so booked the first

ride. He used the infotainment system with great excitement and had a great journey. But one act he is not proud of is the fact that he stole the headphones. The Railway staff while giving the headphones to passengers forgot to mention that they have to return it as well after the journey. Many passengers like Jagdish thought that the headphones are included in the price they paid for their reserved seats.
But more shocking was the fact that today Jagdish surrendered himself before the Railway police and accused the railways of providing substandard earphones. Our Faking News reporter caught up with Jagdish and he had this to say, ” Look, I did a mistake that am accepting. But my mistake has actually brought railways to shame. Never would have people realized that the headphones are of substandard quality if I had not stolen them. Now at least the railway can do an inquiry about the sourcing of the equipment.”
Following Jagdish’s surrender, railway hopes more people will come forward and accept their mistake. Meanwhile, Railways is also probing into the quality issue.

What I think is headphones should not be kept in seats..
Pax can bring their own headphones and plug into that 3.5mm jack.. or else these should be given on demand..
Like in ac coaches, towels are given on demand... So pax who wish to take headphones should ask attendant to give it and at the end of the journey attendant should collect it back..!!

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
