Unconscious Central Railway official on ventilator; doctors say condition serious
Mumbai: A travelling ticket examiner (TTE) of the Central Railway lost consciousness after he was pushed by a ticketless passenger at Rabale station on Tuesday. R.G. Kadam (53) has been put on ventilator, and doctors said his condition is serious.
According to railway officials, at around 2.50 p.m., Mr. Kadam was checking tickets at platform number one. “He stopped a passenger who was approaching his way. Suddenly, the passenger forcefully pushed Mr. Kadam and he fell on the platform. He started bleeding and

became unconscious,” said an official.
A few passengers informed the booking clerk, and Mr. Kadam was taken to a nearby hospital in Airoli. “His condition is critical. After reports of the CT scan, doctors will be able to decide whether to go for an operation or not. He is on ventilator and still unconscious. We all are praying for his recovery,” said an official, who was in the hospital with Mr. Kadam. His family in Pune has been informed.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered with the Turbhe Railway Protection Force (RPF) against an unidentified person. No close circuit television camera was found active at the location. “We are trying to trace the culprit with the help of passengers,” said an RPF officer.

Like in Airports ,the authorized persons are permitted to enter into the FoB and platforms in the Railway station .All should be checked by the security staffs at the entrance of FOB / Platforms.
So these kind of persons entry have been blocked .

There should be a gate and tkts with barcodes.. Only valid tkt holder or PF tkt holder can get into the stations...
PF TKT holder has to exit within two hr else fine can be levied.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
