Around 115 km away from Udaipur city, this historic town boasts of Chittaurgarh fort complex , a must visit for all those interested in our history and traditional culture.
Situated at a distance of 6 km from railway station, booking/shared diesel auto/ape is the cheap and abundant mode of convenience for travel.
Booking options is Rs 400-500 per auto which will include travel to fort, roaming inside various temples/forts inside complex and drop back to station. One side shared auto cost is 20 rs per person.

more... counter for the fort is some half km before the fort (charge 50 Rs per adult), so take it on the way to avoid returning back to the counter.

6. mahadev temple

Souvenirs / heritage shop for traditional cloth /embroidery/ jewelry /earthen work also there inside.
We returned back from Udaipur by 09 : 30 am passenger train towards Ajmer and finished the round by 2.30 pm. lots of restaurants of all budgets/standards in the way back to station( majority of them vegetarian )
best season I would suggest is the monsoon one where you can have beautiful view of town and kund from fort top .
From delhi , Mewar and Chetak Express are two best overnight trains connecting this place.
