Yes, Plus common GT road buses should make a stop at Andal station more or at Airport approach road so that passengers can take Auto, Toto etc for the rest 6 km to Airport. Transportation between Andal station and Airport also needs to improve.

I have seen Buses plying Asn-Dgr taking a halt at approach road cut and nearest flyover. But the last six km are a big pain thanks to no transport (few e-rickshaw that charge 150-200) and a terrible road (one of worst approach road to Airport ever)

That approach road is misnomer.😂 Villages have better roads. Just to cover that small 6 km, Cars, Toto, Auto takes 20 mins. As flyers traffic is low, public transportation is terrible. Fares are therefore very high as they have to return empty. Only dedicated buses can solve this pain.

Given the flight timings, we should have Airport Andal/Durgapur buses running. Given the fleet of city buses AC/Non AC in Asn and Dgr. That wud help popularize the route and airport.

Construction recently started for two approach road widening. Let's hope for some mini buses between City Center bus stand and KNI to start with.
