Yes they were air-conditioned but now it is detached and not operational from last 1 year.
And regarding connectivity you need to reach 1 day earlier if you are planning to travel from Mailani to Nanpara. This is a remote area and no accommodation facilities available there so plan accordingly.

If you are planning to travel in MG trains,
Board any train from LJN/DAL to GK, take a room at Gola Gokarannath.
Then take a bus to Mailani in the morning which is 1hr journey and then board 05362 from Mailani at 8:50AM

Is Gola Gokaranath a bigger place than MLN? I thought Mailani was a bigger station?
It is far bigger with almost all facilities in the city, check Wikipedia page of Gola Gokarannath .
