If the Patna Dhanbad Express is extended to Arrah/Buxar after the Ganga Damodar Express is extended to Dumka, then the much awaited demand of the people of Arrah/Buxar for rail connectivity from Dhanbad will be fulfilled, because Dhanbad doesn't have direct connectivity with Ara/Buxar.

The GAYA-PNBE line is not connected to the main line which goes towards Ara/Buxar.

So for reversal, trains coming from Gaya side has to go to Rajendra Nagar Terminus, have reversal and then come to Patna again.
