East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced special trains from Visakhapatnam to Chennai, Secunderabad, Tirupati, and Kollam to manage passenger rush during the Dasara, Deepavali, and Chhat festivals. weekly special (08579/08580) will operate on Wednesdays and Thursdays from September 4th to November 28th, also for 13 trips each. The Visakhapatnam-Tirupati weekly special (08583/08584) will run on Mondays and Tuesdays from September 2nd to November 26th, covering 13 trips each. Finally, the Visakhapatnam-Kollam special express (08539/08540) will depart on Wednesdays and Thursdays from September 4th to November 28th, with 13 trips each. All special trains will have various classes of coaches, including 1st AC, 2nd AC, 3rd AC, Sleeper, and General Second Class, along with luggage/disabled coaches and a generator motor car.
