Our railway minister thinks his work is over but it is not, as per information i have gathered from several sources the following cities need new or more connectivity to several cities mentioned.
Sagar (MP) lacks connectivity with important places such as all the major cities in South India including Trivandrum, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Mysore, Coimbatore, Cochin, Kolhapur and Tirupati. It also lacks direct connectivity with North and East India despite of heavy passenger traffic for cities like Dehradun, Gorakhpur, Kanpur and Guwahati.
Haridwar lacks direct connectivity with Jabalpur, Visakhapatnam and many...
more... other major cities. Also it is connected to major central Indian cities like Bhopal Junction, Indore, Gwalior, Hoshangabad only once per week and there is still demand to introduce new trains for such important cities.
Guwahati still lacks direct connectivity through railway to Bhopal Junction, Indore Junction BG, Gwalior, Pune and many central as well as western cities of India.
Udaipur lacks direct connectivity to Bhopal, Jabalpur and many major cities of South India
Indore wants more trains to south Indian cities like Chennai.
Tirupati lacks direct connectivity with important and religious places such as Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Jaipur and Dehradun.
Kanniyakumari/nagerkoil needs connectivity to major cities of rajasthan, chatisgarh, jarkhand, etc
