more...
Buses are also available to Panjim once u come out of the station premises. The frequency is very less. However, take a bike pilot or auto to Old Goa and one can easily get a bus to Panjim / Ponda / Marcel etc every 5 minutes from there.

there is another option you can walk along with track toward mumbai end their is rob just 100m from station from there buses are available to panjim
