The station stands at the junction of four railway lines, one from each direction. This is the busiest railway junction in Kerala, as most of the major trains running through the state pass either through the railway station or the link line.
i wished the triangular railway station project came up here. It would have been the first triangular railway station ever and also it would have been helpful and convenient to the passengers. So sad that the project got dropped.
TCR is the busiest station in Kerala second AWY third PGT and fourth its SRR in the no of trains arriving and departing
i agree to it but i had mentioned that "Shoranur is the busiest railway junction in Kerala, as most of the major trains running through the state pass either through the railway station or the link line, a few hundred metres away". Theoretically you are right. :)
