If any passenger traveling to Delhi from Erode try to book ticket from Erode to Saharanpur ,you will get a confirmed seat by paying few extra bucks,rather than going on Tatkal or Waitlisted tickets. I have experience. I booked in 3A and got confirm ticket for 6 Feb 2014. I booked it from PRS Counter. But never choose option for outbound train towards Chandigarh.

Last year I traveled on this train between Haridwar and NZM. SL coaches were very old and dirty.
