This is to inform the general public that the overhead traction wire on the Mehsana-Palanpur section of the Ahmedabad Division of Western Railway will be electrified at 25 KV on or after 23-09-2024.

On the new B.G. doubling line between Kamli (inclusive) and Bhandu Moti Dau (exclusive), spanning km 687.727 to km 706.614, high-gauge barriers have been erected at all railway crossings. These barriers have a clear height of 4.78 meters to prevent excessively tall vehicles from coming into contact with the live traction wire. The barriers will be at a minimum height of 7.30 meters above the rail level at the crossings.

Therefore, the public is advised to be aware of this height restriction when loading vehicles. It is crucial to ensure that the load does not exceed the height of the high-gauge barriers.
