Quite pathetic to see this. We passengers keep demanding new trains and so on but show very little regard for cleanliness irrespective of which category/class of service it is .

'littered platforms, broken sliding doors, and betel juice-stained walls". Most passengers don't know how to use the facilities at the station. People lacking civic sense'. These are some of the words and sentences used in the article. Bangalore City and Yeshwanthpur which manage much more trains and passengers seems to be far better.

There is an obsession with beautification in the current regime. Look and feel seems more priority rather than capacity increase, increasing pf length and so on.

This will most likely happen given Karnataka is going into elections next year....all the more chances for that. With two Vandebharat trains at least 5 major towns/cities get covered in Karnataka. Bangalore, Mysore, Hubbali, Dharward and Belgavi.

So basically maximum crowd is between Chennai-Bangalore. End to end occupancy is less.

I guess there are other options like Shatabdi, MYS-Chennai & so on which might be more preferable for people towards MYS. And probably the office crowd might be more in Chennai-SBC sector hence more occupancy.

All the South Indian associations in JSR along with other associations unanimously feel that when compared to Tata-Allp they have lost few advantages which should ideally be restored though it is difficult now
(1) Everyone agrees onward TT is very bad. SCR, East Coast and SR have passed on the responsibility to SER since it is their train. Ultimately nobody is looking into the same
(2) VSKP, MAS and Coimbatore stoppage has been lost. While Perambur is ok for MAS , it will be really helpful if VSKP and CBE

is added. Instead of CBE they have given Podanur which is not well connected at all.
Hope some efforts are made for TT change. All spl are getting new paths but regular train is being neglected.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
