To avoid congestion at Prayagraj Junction, the Humsafar Express, which runs four days a week to New Delhi and three days a week to Anand Vihar, is being shifted. Currently, the train remains parked at the platform for a long time after arriving from Delhi, and the shunting process also takes time before it reaches the washing line. This process is repeated during its departure at night. Several trains have already been shifted to Subedarganj station. While shifting the Humsafar Express to Subedarganj will provide convenience to residents in the west of the city, it may cause inconvenience to those living in the northern and southern assembly constituencies. This is because Subedarganj station is located at the other end of the city, while Prayagraj Junction is centrally located and therefore easier to access.

Isse Prayagraj Junction ke kisi bhi platform par zyada der tak trains khadi nahi ki ja sakti. Humsafar Express saptah mein chaar din New Delhi aur teen din Anand Vihar tak chalti hai. Isse Delhi se aane ke baad yaha ye kaafi der tak platform par khadi rehti hai. Iske baad shunting process mein bhi samay lagta hai. Tab kahan jaakar train washing line pahunchti hai. Yahi process raat mein iski rawangi ke doran bhi hoti hai. Kai trains pehle hi shift ho chuki hai. Issi ko dekhte hue railway ki taiyaari hai ki Humsafar ko bhi Subedarganj station se chalaaya jaaye. Biti kuchh mahino ke doran Prayagraj Junction se chalane wali kai trains Subedarganj shift ki ja chuki hai. Halanki Humsafar Express ko Subedarganj shift kiye jaane se shahar paschim mein rehne walo ko bhale hi suvidha mile, lekin shahar uttari aur dakshini vidhansabha kshetra mein rehne walo ko pareshani ho sakti hai. 264 trains, with 35 pairs (70 trains) running daily and 108 trains operating once a week. Other trains run two to four days a week. While Prayagraj is the most populated district in the state and known for its religious significance, with offices like the Allahabad High Court, 24 pairs of trains do not stop at the junction, even though it is the headquarters of the Railway's General Manager and Divisional Railway Manager. These trains stop at the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, about 150 km away. Given that the Kumbh Mela will be held in Prayagraj next year, there is a demand to ensure that all trains passing through the city stop there. The proposal for all non-stop trains passing through Prayagraj Junction to stop has been sent to the Railway Board in anticipation of the Kumbh Mela. The Senior DCM of the North Central Railway Prayagraj Division, Himanshu Shukla, is hopeful that the board will approve the proposal for the trains to stop at Prayagraj Junction.

Prayagraj Junction pe total 264 trains aati jaati hain, 35 pairs (70 trains) roz chalti hain, aur 108 trains haftee mein ek din chalti hain. Baaki trains haftee mein do se chaar din chalti hain. Prayagraj state ka sabse zyada population wala district hai, aur yeh religion aur spirituality ke liye famous hai. Allahabad High Court jaise saare state level ke office Prayagraj mein hi hain. Railway ke GM aur Divisional Railway Manager office hone ke bawjood, yaha 24 pairs of trains nahi rukti hain, jabki 150 km door Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction pe ye sabhi trains rukti hain. Prayagraj is the most populous district in the state and is also known as a religious and spiritual city. Several state-level offices, including the Allahabad High Court, are located in Prayagraj. Despite being the location of the General Manager and Divisional Railway Manager offices, 24 pairs of trains do not stop here, while all of these trains stop at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, located approximately 150 km away. Considering the upcoming Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj next year, a demand has been made to ensure that all trains passing through the city stop there. Currently, a proposal has been sent to the Railway Board for all non-stop trains passing through Prayagraj to stop, keeping the Kumbh Mela in mind. The Senior DCM of North Central Railway Prayagraj Division, Himanshu Shukla, states that there is hope that the board will grant permission for the trains to stop here.

Prayagraj state ka sabse zyada aabadi wala district hai, aur ye dharma aur adhyatma ki nagri bhi hai. Allahabad High Court aur kai state level offices Prayagraj mein hi hain.
