CR should start one Pune-Nagpur train via Latur also. It will be good route to do best utilization
Ys you are right but May be Daund jn have some facilities which Ahmednagar/kopargoan dont provide trains passing on that route like Crew change /Water refueling etc techincal things which makes Daund jn to get halt of these trains
But financial viability should get priority over operational necessity ! .... Also Train originates from Pune and PUNE-DD distance is just 70RKM .... So this should also be considered ..... Eg. 22221/22222 CSMT- NZM Rajdhani is also skipping Bhusawal despite Bhusawal being most busiest Jn of CR
Yes but railways should understand this thing and change their mindsets as they still thinks daund should be given halt for technical halt purpose.
Same logic applies to 20821/20822 Pune - Santragachi Humsafar if the halt is not provided @Nashik Road .... By the way the Inaugural run at 22171/22172 Pune Habibganj had over 80 passengers boarding @Kopargaon ..... So hope for some good policy decisions
