Congress Committee, condemned the stoning incident that occurred on Wednesday against Jigga Susaran Horo, the MLA of Sisai constituency, in the Sisai block area. The Jharkhand High Court upheld the single bench order in a case involving Roshni Khalko, a sitting councilor, regarding the upcoming municipal and urban local body elections. A builder named Christopher Ba was found guilty in a cheque bounce case and sentenced to 1 year imprisonment with a fine of ₹15 lakhs. Political campaigning has intensified in Jharkhand as all parties are holding meetings to strengthen their positions ahead of the upcoming elections.

Delhi Garib Rath Express. The new service will fulfill a long-standing demand for a direct train between Dhanbad and Delhi. Meanwhile, the Indian Railways is on alert following a stone-pelting incident on the Vande Bharat Express, which occurred during a trial run between Tata and Patna. The incident resulted in a windowpane of a coach being shattered, causing a delay in the trial run. The Vande Bharat Express was delayed by two hours and reached Gomo at 6:58 PM, departing at 7:03 PM. The official launch of the Tata-Patna Vande Bharat Express is scheduled for September 15th, with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to be present.
