The system will be operational by 2026 and will cover 316 kilometers between Dholpur and Bina. The system will be interconnected through an internet network supported by 80 LTE towers and an evolution tower every 4 kilometers. The system will be integrated with the train engine and also includes sensors on the track sleepers to monitor the train's position. The KAVACH 4.0 system was first installed in 2020 on the Sawai Madhopur-Kota section (108 kilometers). KAVACH 4.0 system pehle 2020 mein Sawai Madhopur-Kota section (108 kilometers) pe laga tha.
