SCR must ensure RSA of Falaknuma & East Coast Express. SCR must take East Coast Express Rake from SER. East Coast Express must be converted to SF after SCR gets hold of the train, renumber the train from 18645/18646 to 22703/22704. This will help & improve Kolkata-Hyderabad Train travel very much. Currently 12703/04 Falaknuma Express & 12709/10 Simhapuri Express are having RSA. SCR must delink RSA of 12703/04 & 12709/10, extend 12797/98 Venkatadri Express to SC from KCG. Then 12709/10 & 12797/98 can have RSA, making rakes of Venkatadri Express LHB from current ICF.

I agree that East Coast Exp should be SF and under SCR. But should not have Rsa with Falaknuma Exp. Because PM time will not be feasible for Hyderabad. But Falaknuma Exp should go to SER (because of its TT) due to lay over time in HWH and there will be no need of rsa.

If Falaknuma PM is shifted to HWH then the train arriving at SC can leave in afternoon, requires 3 rakes and doesn't require any RSA. There is no need of change in timings of east coast express. Timings and run time of East coast will have to change drastically to suit RSA which is a waste task.

Operational pattern:- 12703 = HWH 08.35; SC 10.20||--|| 22704 = SC 14.40; SHM 17.25||--|| 22703 = SHM 11.15; SC 14.00||--|| 12704 = SC 16.25; HWH 18.10|| 5 LHB rakes available, if any one of these trains run late, then other rakes will help to run the services on time.

If someone wants to go to Digha beach, like from Tatanagar, then how can I reach?
If i choose to go via Kharagpur I can go via bus. But if i want to go via Jaleswar, I have to get a cab/auto. Can anyone tell me that cabs are available in jaleswar for digha? And how much they charge???

I went to Digha once by taking an EMU from KGP for Panskura and then an EMU from there to Digha. But boy, the Digha section has so much demand and much lower capacity for running trains. The train was more full than a Bombay local during peak times. I couldn't even get onto the train. Fortunately, I was traveling with my Mum and somehow she took me into the ladies coach [which was also, somewhat full of men ; policemen could hardly supervise such a crowd] where I was standing for the rest of the journey.

your best bet is just to get a cab/bus since that would be a much less harrowing journey. Also, stay a night in Digha since the night time ambience is quite good. I had to return at night, so could barely enjoy much of it. The beaches of Digha were slightly more rocky/bumpy than that of Puri though.

I returned via a reserved train, so that was atleast much more comfortable.

From Tatanagar you have to come to kharagpur by any train. From kharagpur:
1. If on Sunday, you will directly get Asansol-Digha Exp.
2. On other days, there r some express trains to digha you can check their timings and travel accordingly in undeserved coaches.
3. Take EMU from kharagpur and go to Panskura and take connecting EMU to Digha.

Most flexible option is to reach KGP by any train and then get a Digha bond bus via Paniparul from Kharagpur Bus Stand present north just outside of the station. Bus frequency is roughly 30 mins. in peak hours. Bus journey time 3.5 to 4 hrs.
Cabs from Jaleswar charge anywhere between тВ╣1200-1500 just for 50 km odd of travel.
If you're anyway opting for Cab as a part of your journey, it's best to get them right outside of Kharagpur station. You will mostly get a reasonable deal plus further discount
