IR has to introduce a new train like dakshin slip with slip halts to NZM and to remove halts in between BZA-BPQ then speedup is easy.
Even with these stoppages it can be speeded up by 30 mins in WL Ballarshah section and another 30 mins in Nagpur Bhopal section without 130kmph TT implementation. Not just AP even TG Kerala SJ section timings are not equal and are run to potentual. Speedup requires lot of changes of timings in all zones and its the reason for not touching without technological upgrade of total system.
Sir, it is not Rajdhani, but a long distance prestigious SF express for home state. Present schedule is perfect for AP. No need of any changes. It just has to be maintained. As long as AP reaches BPL ontime or with minimal delay, it will be on its schedule in NCR and till NDLS.
Only after Indore VB came into picture, things turned little bad for AP because of obvious priority for VB. May be tripling of line in ghats in CR may help in avoiding overtake. Not sure about the tripling status between Nagpur and ET.

The only feasible solution is a TT revision, TN is still faster than 20805 (avg speed wise atleast) if only IR maintained a "sequence" its less hassle for anyone. Just reverse the damn schedules of AP and TN from WCR, slightly speed-up VB so it clears ET before AP (anyways gets detained at powerkheda ?, any sane reason why even bypass was allowed if it isn't even helping) and tails TN till BPL (which it does even today), if TN is allowed a 10 mins speed-up in NCR (with AP schedule) then TN clears NZM before Raj and the sequence should be - 1. 2621 2. 22691 3. AP and so on. No OT Re-OT drama etc
For AP to speedup, first halts between WL and BPQ should be taken out. I have been saying from the beginning that AP is given lower priority by SCR and CR. Its given good priority between BPL-NDLS..on par with Raj. I have seen many instances where Raj was not allowed to OT even in cases where both arrive VGLJ at the same time. Only in cases where AP is delayed a lot, then Raj is allowed to OT. CR on the other hand is willing to sabotage the schedule of AP so VB can arrive BPL 5-10 min early. When they know the arrival time of AP at BPL is earlier than VB and also there is no halt at ET, how can thy let VB overtake? That is the culprit of delay majority of times. They have identified this and made a 10 min early schedule in NGP but that...
