Well, that happened more than 2 years back. It's an old story. Since then, changes have taken place. I heard BRC was changing speed sensors on their P5 locos last year.
I remember an incident when a WAP5 (probably 30000) was hauling Golden Temple Mail (was running with 2 extra coaches on that day, total 24 coaches) with traction bogie 2 isolated and completed the journey without any problem with only 50% of its power and tractive effort.
