Worst suggestion , it will slow the schedule.
Shifting to TBM is fine but with a single halt at Egmore.

I feel that, they should make this change permanent. It is better, long distance train skip MAS and halt at Perambur. This will reduce the traffic at MAS considerably.

Thandaiyarpettai Station /Ennore have to be developed as additional stoppages for those train passing through Perambur and skipping Chennai central.
Since Royapuram is highly impossible to developed as additional terminal due to congestion /heritage sites/Royapuram electric loco shed ,Thandaiyarpettai have to be developed as additional terminal for Chennai Metro to ease ever congestion in Chennai Central.

They had done this change for Allp-DHN many years ago . Those days traffic was much lesser than what it is now. The train [13352] used to depart PER in its current time at 20:30 hours and have an early arrival at BZA around 5:30am also by skipping MAS.
Passenger associations then put pressure and then railways reverted back to getting the train halted at Chennai as PER was not well connected and amenities at that time was much lesser. I think they can rethink the decision and get more trains to skip MAS. It will save travel time to quite an extent.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
