Achievements in the month of July’17
1. Successful trial run of loco No. 30568 with full load of Rajdhani rake completed. This locomotive is equipped with Hotel Load Converter and is without Contactor No. 32 & Relay No. 33 in its filter cubicle. A suitable modification has been done in software to ensure proper functioning of protective action. This will achieve common filter cubicle for WAG9H and WAP7 locomotives.

Commissioning & testing of 1st unit of M/s CGL make IGBT based propulsion system in loco No. 31957.

3. Expression of Interest (EOI) floated for Manganese Steel Pins & Bushes for conventional electric locomotives.

3. Scrutiny of test protocol of DPWCS for new entrants.

4. Design Document approval for composite converter with Hotel Load for WAP-5 Locomotive.

5. Scrutiny and approval of design document of Hotel Load converter for WAP-7 Locomotive for new entrants.

6. Commissioning of Hotel load converters of M/s Medha make on Loco Nos. 30577, 30578 & 30580 and M/s BHEL make on 30597 & 30598.

7. Scrutiny of Proforma-A & compliance to STR of 3-ph drive Propulsion System of new entrants.
