Yeah we have to be sensitive and understand. These days knee problem is rampant across elderly and climbing to UB is difficult. Not sure if we have any innovation going on to solve this in new coaches :)

true, in my case. although i am not yet a senior citizen but am tall and obese (lot more than overweight) and lots of kind people have helped me in sleeping on the lower berth in both First AC and second AC. Climbing to the upper berth is impossible, not just difficult. Life is like that

oh boss. i am 160 kg. even the nice ladders dont help me. once, i had to request a person in a lower berth in 2nd ac to switch over to my first ac upper berth with the informal blessings of the tte. :)
