TrainsAndTravel~ 1134 blog postsGood news at last in Election Year, Tanakpur to get its first Express train in form of Triveni Express. Now a daily train from Tanakpur to Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi , Lucknow and Prayagraj side. It should have been done before the starting of Kumbh but even now it's a welcome move.
Hope the notification with time table comes soon and will there be a flag off ceremony at Tanakpur for the departure of first Express train

Let the train start first, it will get its stoppage at Khatima. Sometimes I wonder those who plan timetable and stoppages, what they think when allotting a stoppage to a train. Majhola never I would have given Khatima as its Stoppage

Mind that it's an exaggeration to term Triveni as an express train. Hope, after extension, it's unprecedented late anywhere on the way, may have a solid justification.
March se ho he Jani chahiye. Officials are working on it. Hope the new time table of the extended Triveni Express comes out soon from IZN division after approval from the RB
