Good initiative but why long route from santragachi via ramrajatala, dasnagar, liluah...it should be direct from santragachi via the amta route to bally/ dankuni that route. And from KHARAGPUR via Andul....Via dasnagar and liluah too much rush...of SER trains towards howrah, ER chord and main line train towards howrah goods trains also pass via thst howrah bypass line from liluah to tikiapara...
But good initiative a direct train from KHARAGPUR to dumdum or Sealdah is required....
But my question is why SER do not take this initiative first...why ER always takes...
more... these kind of initiative to run passenger trains to new routes discover new routes...SER has lot of options but do not at all active to take any initiative.
I will not be surprised to see if this inspection is successful then ER will start EMU service from Sealdah to Santragachi, maybe we can see Sealdah to Digha, Sealdah to Haldia someday. Many routes are available in SER to discover and start new emu, memu trains but sorry to say no initiative by SER at all neglecte Passenger routes years after years.

These are only emu sections in memu/ Passenger trains section lots and lots of options are available in SER to improve connectivity but no initiative.
