SBC MAQ via Kunigal should cover the distance in 9 hours. There should be one daily train via Mysore which can cover the distance in 10.30 hours.
Why not extend KCVL MYS upto Mangalore with PM at MAQ? MAQ is being developed further for accommodating more trains and instead of filling up with pure Kerala trains, why can't we have one Kerala terminating train via Karnataka? Just a reverse of YPR MAQ via SRR? Can reach Mysore by 1045 and leave by 1100 to reach MAQ by 1600. Can leave by 0630 to reach MYS by 1330 and further go to KCVL via SBC. You get a daytime train from Mangalore to Mysore and Bangalore.
