A visit to Howrah Rail Museum ....
final leg of my journey Howrah to Danapur I quickly moved and reached onto PF#21 where a huge crowd was waiting to board the Duronto. As I looked at the chart... In 3AC, till GNWL78 got cleared while in 1AC, GNWL7 got cleared.
Soon, A cool blue livery KGP WDM 3A arrived with the empty Duronto rake. Ppl started filling in like it was the last train to the sacred mecca. This time I need not walk down long to board my coach.
As I stepped on the gate of H1 coach, my first impressions were something like.... eeeww! WTH. Really, the floor was looking too dirty and water was stagnant at some places with foul smell coming. None to welcome the passengers nor to help them with the luggage. I was allotted seat in H cabin, LB. my co passengers were a 62 yrs old Bangalore based bengali aunty, a 30 yrs old Kolkata based bengali man, and a CURRENT BOOKING CONFIRMED TICKET holder 38 yrs old Bangalore based marwari aunty.
I settled my luggage under the berth and went out for some RFing. Time was 10:54 and I have to walk down a long way till the loco to capture the SRC beauty/beast. meanwhile I saw a WDM hauled Duronto ready for departure from PF#23, so I crossed over to PF#23 to capture the train name board, it was Digha Duronto. Time was 10:58 am and I was capturing the SRC monster 22254 SRC WAP4. I rushed back towards my coach. Soon, the beast honked loud prior to the starter. and with a jerk it started moving while I still had few meters to walk. I captured another shot of my H1 coach while it was moving away in front of my eyes. I then rushed and boarded my coach with a smile :-)
