Dear Sir,
I would request Railway authorities to start a new daily express train from Vijayawada to Bengaluru via New Guntur, Tirupathi and Katpadi.
Existing trains Prasanthi, Seshadri and Kondaveedu expresses are not at all convenient for working people since they reach/depart Bengaluru in odd hours.
People from BZA/GNT/ONG/NLR regions working in B'lore are depending upon private travel buses for years. Travels charging 1000...
more... INR to3000 INR per seat/berth depends on season (holidays/festivals)and no half-ticket concession for children. We'd to pay our hard earned money to these travels for whatever price they put since they depart Vijayawada around 6pm and reach Bengaluru by 7am next day morning which is most convenient for working people to catch-up office in the next day morning.
If there is any convenient train closely matches with above timings is Yeswanthpur- Howrah or howrah- Yeswantpur express however it is very difficult to get a berth in this train since it is very long distance train and had to plan/book at least 59 days in advance in-order to get berth in this train.
Workarounds:
1. Kondaveedu express should be made daily train and ensure to reach by 8am max at Yeshwanthpur station this may be possible by skipping SSP Nilayam stop and speed-up the train by 10 to 20mins.
2. YPR-Howrah express should divert via BZA, New Guntur, TEL. If this is not possible Two SL class bogies bound to Bangalore should be attached atleast to Sabari express at GNT and attach to any other train coming from BZA/Chennai/TPTY in any station on main line.
3. There should be a connecting train for Krishna Express at TPTY around 22:30 hrs to go to SBC/YPR via CTO/KPD or RU/Arakkonam Bypass. Also there is no problem if Krishna express is extended till SBC/YPR.
4. Timings of YPR-Puri Garibrath need to be changed and frequency need to be increased. Ex: 21:40(YPR) - 10:40(GNT) MON, WED, FRI. Also lot of buffer time given for this train, that need to be reduced
Thank You
Lakshmana
