Because it has scheduled halt at aligarh jn. So in case it proceeds before 22435 at cnb it need to be overtaken somewhere that's how precedence work right?
See, 22435's schedule is too tight so even with a bit of disturbance - it gets delayed.
On the other hand BSBS AGC VB's line gets cleared by the help of 22435, so it runs freely without much disturbance.

AYC - ANVT VB's TT was bad. It had too much slack, it could've easily went upto New Delhi just behind BSB - NDLS VB.
But even normal Superfast trains are faster than AYC - ANVT VB.

Before ALJN was added it could've been done. Now no hope nor chance,

It still reaches ANVT sometimes ~30 mins before. The problem with AYC ANVT VB is that it is bound to trail LJN Shatabdi and the later itself has become quite slow over the years.

GKP-PRYJ VB is getting more passengers in LKO-PRYJ stretch. I was seeing ticket availability, GKP-LKO tickets available but LKO-PRYJ is having good patronage.
Wait, Lucknow - Allahabad is getting full in this VB? I think this is one of the only 2 trains one can sanely take to reach PRYJ proper [not Sangam railway station]; other being Triveni Express but that takes twice the time. Still, with 2 ICEs and dozens of bus services, I didn't expect many people to opt for this VB in the afternoon that is.
It's a decent train to catch for GKP from LKO during evening but for mornings, the ICE only takes an hour more and it's CC is...

Howrah-Digha Vande Bharat is expected to get RB Approval soon. As per internal news it will get RB Approved. Soon tourists to Digha will get VB experience.

A VB for such a short distance. Except for the weekends, is to going to work ?
A HWH-Digha super AC Express used to run on this route with okayish occupancy.Though the VB fares will probably be higher than that.
It had good patronage on the weekends, and poor on the weekdays. Today VB will have even better patronage on the weekends and extended weekends, but I guess the weekdays will be less patronized. It is difficult to find a place in the Tamralipta Express. This route along with Howrah Haldia should be considered more for Namo Bharat Rapid.
They should be running more fast EMU/passenger trains from HWH/KGP for Digha, especially on weekends. I once had to catch a connecting passenger from Panskura to Digha and it was more saturated than a Bombay local. I think a Haldia bound EMU was also standing then, but that didn't have much crowd.
Haldia is an industrial town, I think compared to the tourist potential that Digha has.
