No offence to Shramshakti Fans, just an observation
Shramshakti gets undeniable priority agreed, no doubt about it. But for a non stop train having a free run till New Delhi, it's speed (64 km/h) is quite low and early arrival is quite natural as there's no obligation to depart at scheduled time in intermediate stations. Shramshakti Express by its current stop (1 actually) can maintain an average above 70 quite easily. It's scheduled run is 6h 50 minutes which can be trimmed down a lot.
Same is not the case with Prayagraj it's...
more... Speed is high (67km/h) and run time is lower (6h 35 minutes, 15 minutes faster than Shramshakti), but the problem is stoppages; it can arrive early at intermediate stations but can't depart before scheduled time, still runs really well.
So considering all these facts I'd say Prayagraj gets a little bit more of a Priority if not less. ☺
But both are pride of NCR so what's the loss ? I'm really happy that Shramshakti is getting LHB.
