The competent authority has permitted BNI/NI (Yard remodelling) of BARABANKI (BBK) station in connection with doubling of BBK-AYC-SHG-ZBD section over LKO Division/NR.

Bhai it's chaos for travellers of Ayodhya, Shahganj, Akbarpur for past few months. Trains are getting canceled at such short notice that you can't even plan another train due to lack of time...
All this due to Ram Mandir pressure.

This reeks of poor planning on Railways part. For eg. take 11123/24 Mail. I travelled in it few days before. If my trip was even a week later, I would be stuck in Gwalior probably since IR canceled my Down train without informing me beforehand. The British built this line over 100 years ago, what was the railways doing for a century then? If they can wait for a century and just fiddle their hands, what's the sudden rush now; which apocalypse is coming that you have to inconvenience passengers for no reason.

most of the canceled trains do not even go via Ayodhya route. They just touch BBK and go via GD. Many of them transport hundreds of pax daily like the ICEs. Couldn't the Railways manage to keep some trains running on the LJN-GD route?

Yeah, there was no need to cancel this many GKP trains, GKP wali trains ko pf 3 aur 4 par liya ja sakta tha, kyuki udhar to work hona nahi tha...
But NR is flexing it's muscles here by punishing NER trains while running their own via Pratapgarh.

NER should demand a BBK NER station then they can run as many trains as
they want on their side of 2 tracks towards Malhaur.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
