to more frequent services in the coming days. Western Railway aims to add more AC trains, each capable of making 11-12 trips daily. The closed doors of AC trains provide enhanced safety for passengers. AC local fares remain affordable compared to other services like metro. Over the past 5-7 years, numerous escalators and lifts have been installed at Mumbai's stations. Western Railway is modernizing stations under the 'Amrit Bharat Stations' initiative. To reduce waiting lists, new passenger trains are being added and dedicated tracks are being created for freight trains. Modernizing signaling systems and tracks will improve travel times. Currently, around 30-31 lakh passengers travel daily on Western Railway. The 'Mera Ticket, Mera Inaam' scheme has generated approximately 4 crore in revenue for the railway. Additionally, nearly 90 crore has been recovered from ticketless passengers in the Mumbai section.

Western Railway ka plan hai ki aur zyada AC trains add ki jaayein, har ek train 11-12 trips daily kar sakti hai. AC trains ke band doors passengers ke liye extra safety provide karte hain. Metro jaise dusre services ke compare mein AC local ka fare abhi bhi affordable hai. Last 5-7 saal mein Mumbai ke zyadatar stations pe escalators and lifts lagaye gaye hain. Western Railway 'Amrit Bharat Stations' initiative ke under stations ko new look dene ki koshish kar raha hai. Waiting lists ko kam karne ke liye, new passenger trains add ki jaa rahi hain aur freight trains ke liye dedicated tracks banaye jaa rahe hain. Signalling system aur tracks ko modernize karne se travel time improve hoga. Currently, Western Railway pe har roz 30-31 lakh passengers travel karte hain.
