Waise accha hua .. nahi to Haryana mei faltu ki VB hi chalate ... Main routes like CDG AGC via FDB , GGN-CDG via DEC morning departure would have been ignored .

You're right. The Patel Nagar-DEE-Sadar Bazar Block is like a swamp that NR doesn't want to improve. Likely they are afraid that it will decrease avg time of the train but interestingly, it didn't matter much to them when they extended Duronto making it go through he same swamp.

There are some passengers from Dungargarh or Ratangarh who travel to Kolkata once in a while, though. But I guess the reward is not worth extending such a premium train to BKN. Rajasthan is a price sensitive market, especially Shekhawati region and an intercity type train would be a major hit instead of Duronto. Even VB or better, a Vande Metro could be better than a dynamically priced train!
