This is going to be the first time a Premium train will touch Thivim station. I must say, Thivim, an A category station with limited no of halts has always been neglected by the Railways. It is a shame, the people of Bardez have to beg for halts to be allocated at Thivim.

The fastest route to Pune is definately via the Konkan Railway and Panvel. The Goa Express runs on the wrong route and the continuation of the Goa Express via Londa is nothing but politics. Any fool will agree, the shortest route between Vasco and H Nizamuddin is via the Konkan Railway. If this was the case, there was no question to passing via Pune

Whether you agrree or not is not a question. the Goa Express takes the wrong route. Just becuase it started way before the KR, does not mean the route should not change. The Netravati, 12432/31 Rajdhani used to follow another route, till the introduction of the KR and today Malyalees benefit. The GOa Express is just not Goa Express as it serves more of the other states than Goa. Any fool will agree with this,

Why doesn't this train halt at Thivim? It would have been a better idea to terminate the train at Kudal itself. THis train serves Maharashtra not Goa.

A premium Shatabdi, it will take 11 hours to reach karmali. At least, this time beats the Diva-Madgaon Passenger. This only confirms, the moto of Indian Railways is "Make hay while the sun shines"

This train hardly caters to Goa. It only terminates in Goa. I wonder, who is going to board this train in Sawantwade and Ratnagiri. There are hardly any takers for the Rajdhani and Garib Rath trains. As has been the case with other trains, probably this is WRs' gift to the people of these places so that they can board the train with a general ticket as is seen in other trains

WHy is it the Mumbai-Karmali train not halting at Thivim? This is nothing but radicalism where, the KR only wishes to harass the people of Goa. What they are trying to show is Kudal, Kankavli and Chiplun earn maximum revenue, when the truth is illegal and ticketless travellers get in at these places.
