The chamber also requested the immediate commencement of the Katihar-Anand Vihar Terminal train announced on March 15, 2024, and urged for halts at Salmari station for trains like Dibrugarh-Chandigarh 15903/15904, Kamrup-Anand Vihar 15621/15622, Devghar-Agartala 15625/15626, and Vande Bharat 22233/22234. They also demanded the reconstitution of the Salmari Station Advisory Committee.

कटिहार-बरसोई 75747/75748 ट्रेन जोड़ी का बंद होना, कटिहार-सिलीगुड़ी-कटिहार इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस 15719/15720 का सुधानी और तेलता पर ठहराव हटाना, और उत्तर बंग एक्सप्रेस और कामरूप एक्सप्रेस 15960/15959 का बरसोई जंक्शन और कंचनजंगा एक्सप्रेस का आजमनगर रोड स्टेशन पर ठहराव हटाना। चैंबर ने यह भी माँग की कि 15 मार्च, 2024 को घोषित कटिहार-आनंद विहार टर्मिनल ट्रेन का परिचालन जल्दी से शुरू किया जाए, और सालमारी स्टेशन पर डिब्रूगढ़-चंडीगढ़ 15903/15904, कामरूप-आनंद विहार 15621/15622, देवघर-अगरतला 15625/15626, और वंदे भारत 22233/22234 जैसी ट्रेनों के लिए ठहराव दिए जाएँ। उन्होंने सालमारी स्टेशन सलाहकार समिति को पुनर्गठित करने की भी माँग की।
