Since Guage Conversion of LKU-IZN-BRY-BEM-KSJ section the tracks has to pass from a narrow Ramganga Bridge which serves as a common way for BE-CH-ALJN line and the old MG KSJ-BRY line.

When the Guage conversion was done the 2 tracks lay so close to each other that they had literally pass from one keeping other closed.

more... Ramganga Bridge of NER section and NR section both lay in same arch.To occupy a station Ramganga Bridge RGBD and the bridge itself, there has been a year-long conflict between NR-MB division and NER-IZN division.

Finally the station went to NR to facilitate crossover to both Bareilly NR and Bareilly NER and a whole new line section was made from Bareilly NER to RGBD so that NR and NER section may not intersect.

During all this fight and hassle the newly introduced 2 trains. LKU-CPA-LKU spl and LKU-MTJ-LKU spl intercity were sacrificed due to conflict over this issue.

Hopefully they will run a new intercity upto CPA if demanded and 2 of the following things are looking obvious at this point.
1) Cancellation of KGM-CNB GaribRath and run a triweekly overnight Express in place of it upto CNB.
2) Reintroduction of LKU-CPA ICE only after electrification of KSJ-CPA section, since reversal is much of a task due to Kasganj decisions and lack of specialised staffs for reversal.
