Keeping in mind safety of common public and to reduce the casualties, IR should attach extra parcel vans on both side of all passenger trains running with ICF rakes, till the time they are converted to LHB rakes bcoz Despite the advent of new technologies like kavach/ACD or advance signalling system IR system is unable to cope up with increased freight traffic load.
This may sound quite medicore but all other safety mechanism installation speed is quite slow across various sections.

Kavach is currently not being implemented properly, can be many reasons. And keeping HCPV or parcel van can be a good point for saving lives. But cannot be done to put 4 parcel vans only in a train. This is not a good solution.

Main focus should be to decrease some burden of LPs, so that they can work more efficiently. It matters a lot. When an Airplane Pilot has constraints to fly the plane for a specific for a specific period, IR is not able to handle this thing properly.

IR is having load of running train, but it doesn't mean to work with only that number of people. This VB minister will only focus on VB train only and nothing else.

Relax. Neither will railway do such thing, nor it'd become a big concern for general travelers or parcel booking parties.

Because as much as we can discuss or agree upon it being a perfect solution for time being, it isn't feasible economically. Given that even SLR parcel vans run empty in many trains.

It you can pinpoint to one or two things that needs improvement in Indian Railways then it's ok but looks like they are in a total mess now be it in terms of safety, security, crowd management, punctuality or cleanliness everything looks like in a total mess.
All the governments including current one have totally screwed IR in one or the other. I don't know if they will ever get out of this mess. Looks like a whole reset is required and covid era gave them the opportunity when only few trains were running but mostly they failed.

Dude the work culture in India is like if you work more than your official shift you are considered a hard working person otherwise a person coming and leaving work on time is looked down upon. Thats across private and government sectors. No one cares about efficiency going down due to fatigue.

There's only so much we can do. We need more trains, but we also need coal, we need goods transported. With the exploding population, fertile land can't be compromised in the name of expansion.

When you're rewarded for showing profits, and when everyone thinks their jobs are mere quorum, then quality takes a hit. More working hours, less time for rejuvenation and maintenance, means more chances of mishaps.

Instead of going via CNB and reversing there. It can rather reverse at PRYJ and go via PFM, RBL, LKO. Or simply CAR, BSB, BBK, ASH, LJN.

If reversal at CNB and path denial by NCR isn't an issue. Then it's good.

Train won't be helpful until Singrauli rewa track is laid. After that this seems more feasible RNC LAD DTO CPU SGRL REWA CTKD Banda Bhimsen Kanpur to Lucknow.


For current scenario you can opt RNC LAD DTO RNQ CPU CAR PRYJ CNB/RBL LKO.

Whats wrong in this 40 km stretch between rangapani mayanaguri that two big fatal railway accidents happened in last two years.HCPV somehow have saved many lives but still death toll is 15+.Railway should look towards the safety of passengers and took this matter seriously looks like signalling problem they should improve the signalling system and prioritise LHB conversion they are running summer special with LHB coaches but old train like kanchenjunga still in ICF if LHB it would have ran no death or very less could be (excluding LP/ALPs of goods train).
