Avoid upper berth (UB) if you can. Side Upper (SU) is fine. Every alternate upper berths are extremely difficult and dangerous to get up on Humsafar coaches and one can easily get injured while trying to climb it. (I was on 19 and 22 was slightly easier).
Despite being LHB, Rajdhani LHB Upper berth and Humsafar 3AC UB is NOT the same.

What to expect when you are about to travel in first class.
While booking I was very excited when I was asked the seat preference and I happily selected a coupe. But, when I arrived at my coach what I saw was shocking, my coach FC1 was a 1997 made sleeper coach converted into a 2×2 chair car.
The seats did not had any table attached to it and in the entire coach there were only 4 charging points near the doors, seats also had levers which are used to adjust the
reclining seat but the lever present just were just for display purpose as it didn't move an inch.
Fare of AC chair car is cheaper than this fake first class.
In terms of comfort Karnavati LHB 2S second sitting is more comfortable than this 2×2 chair car disguised as first class and one can travel at just Rs 180 between Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
At least I am thankful that I didn't get a general compartment in the name of first class which is there in Bandra Surat Intercity.
At least railways should change the seat preference option as whatever asked in the options does not exist in the real life.
God knows what our great Indian railways thinks before doing such act.

Tip is for: Passengers travelling to Mysuru in the morning.
If you are wary of going to SBC (Majestic) and boarding the crowded trains and suffering from standing. Then head to MWM station and board the Arsikere-Bengaluru passenger 56224 at around 8:45, which will continue onto Mysuru as 56232. Here tickets are sold directly towards Mysuru. So many people come to MWM and board the train here to avoid the crowd at SBC.

After boarding ask around and find a seat where the passenger (mostly govt. office employees) will get down at SBC and take the seat in SBC.
At the station the train usually arrives on PF 2, but after buying the ticket stand near the FoB. Because sometimes at the last moment the clerk will announce that the train will arrive on PF 1, then you will have to walk fast to PF 1 using FoB. Never jump down onto the tracks and try crossing. It's illegal as well as one more train HUP passenger comes on the other line, also towards SBC (YPR-SBC is bi-directional double line).

Had a pretty bad experience on this train. Arrived at Borivali 1 hour late and was late by over 2 hours when it reached Vadodara. Seating is too crammed. Moreover, we were allotted the lower deck which is just above the wheels and so noisier than what one would expect in an AC coach. Double decker was a big let down and would suggest not to opt for this train unless it is the only train available. Can go by Karnavati/ Garib Rath instead

This train reached Secunderabad 10 minutes before time, thinking that Staff will close the gates of train for cleaning the train, I waited outside for about 10 minutes but thorough cleaning never happened (which goes on in Habibganj Shatabdi at Habibganj). Staff just cleaned the toilets, collected any garbage and cleaned windows with dirty clothes which made it more dirty (I cleaned it later with a newspaper). Coach Position is normally +/- 1 of whatever is shown on Coach Position Displays.
Train departed dot on time.
Welcome drinks and evening snacks were served at 3:30pm itself. Sandwich was pathetic , just the bread no filling in between. I also got Oil which had a Kachori 😂😂; it was so oily that when I opened it half of my tray was covered with oil. Others were packed food so they were Ok
After that till Solapur nothing was served, so my advice would be to carry your own food for the time in between and if the train gets late in reaching Solapur then God help you.
Soup is basically Rasam loaded with Coriander leaves
Dinner loaded from Solapur is really nice, all dishes are tasty and filling.
Cleanliness: First of all, trays behind seats are quite dirty so advice would be to get it cleaned by cleaning staff.
Okayish, toilets are normally drenched in water, soap dispensers have foam instead of soaps, no toilet paper coach is cleaned only two times, no cleaning of windows at intermediate stations.
Seats don't have headrest covers as promised in Swarn Project even overhead reading lamps don't work for some seats.
Room Freshners don't work.
Train can be late at intermediate stations but it's always on/before time at Pune Junction.
Stoppage time is also less for intermediate stations so if you have large luggage be ready to get in fast as people are way too slow in these things.
Above mentioned are strictly my opinions and subject to opinions; any opinion is totally welcome here please comment your opinions. Hope it helps 🙂
