This is Rake 33, which was alloted to WR & was used for some time with Chennai - Vijayawada Vande Bharat Express

Personally in case of late running of trains, i would prefer it in b/w tata - bbs only in case I don't get tickets in other trains
So the incoming rake at TATA can't be sent as it will be sent for PM. So a fresh rake given.
This has to be the most egregious example of VB till now, running through rural Jharkhand. It might help folks from BBS/Cuttack through TATA but is absolutely useless for passengers from stations like Chaibasa or Kendujhargarh. Like the latter station doesn't even see 10 trains daily, what it needs is more ICE/Mail trains, not VBs.

since it is PM'ed @ TATA, how about taking it to PURI on the other end ? (only BALU and BAM would be sacrificed)
Puri, being important pilgrimage center of our nation would surely b able to fetch good patronage.
this way only single rake wud b sufficient for UP & DN and 2nd rake can b utilized somewhere else in our country.

Originally proposed for Puri only, Puri CDO denied maintenance at turnaround due to staff shortage.

Even extension till vskp can be a good option with adjusted TT.
What for running empty Vande Bharat to Vskp which are not required. Already BBS Vskp is running with less occupancy now Durg is being added. Enough is enough. 2 rakes are being wasted for the route for which VB is not needed. Members will be shocked to see the sectional occupancy between Berhampur and BBS.
Bhai, earlier tata had a direct train to vskp. Now tata ers is not going vskp. Weekly tata vskp exp goes too much delay and with very bad TT. Even if I personally want to go to Hyderabad then, I would change any train from Vskp
Bhai one simple question who will travel from Tatanagar to Vskp wasting full day paying Rs 1800? You may have requirement but how many will afford to spend that much for day travel for connecting train from Vskp.
You are absolutely correct, but then question comes, that people of banspani/kendujargarh would be able to afford the ticket of this VB for going to BBS/Tata or where ever?. These areas are absolutely dependent on buses and even you are also knowing that trains on this route are not performing well.
