On the Prakashotsava festival to be held on the 354th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, the Railways has given additional stay of two pairs of trains at Bhagalpur at Patna Sahib station. Up and down Bhagalpur-Surat Express and Banka-Rajendra Nagar Intercity Special will stop two minutes from 12 to 26 January. Its notification has been issued by the railway. This will greatly facilitate the travelers of Bhagalpur and surrounding districts. They will be able to land at Patna Sahib station and participate in the program. Railways took care of the facilities of devotees
CPRO Rajesh Kumar of Poomre said that Sikh devotees from every corner of the country arrive at Patna Sahib station every year on the birth anniversary of Guru Govind Singh. Keeping in mind that there is no inconvenience for the devotees to reach here, a temporary stay of 14 pairs of trains has been given. There are also two pairs of trains on the Bhagalpur route. During the stoppage of these trains, the number of ticket check centers and reservation ticket counters will also increase at Patna Sahib station.

Special arrangements were made by the Railways on the 350th Prakashotsav. A large number of devotees from other states also arrived to join it. In view of this, the railway also operated many special trains. Also, stoppages of almost every trains opening from Bhagalpur were given there.
